Purpose

This policy explains how travel fees are applied for all mobile notary, loan signing, and verification appointments across West Tennessee.  It ensures clients understand what is included in the standard mobile fee and how extended travel is billed.

Included Travel Distance

Travel is included in the standard mobile fee for appointments located within 30 miles of Saulsbury, TN.

Important Clarification

The standard mobile fee does not include the notarization itself.

Notarization fees are billed separately based on the type and number of documents.

This distinction ensures transparency between the mobile service (travel to client) and the notarial act (the official service performed).

Extended Travel Fees

For appointments located beyond 30-miles a travel fee of $0.70 per mile applies.  Mileage is calculated using the most direct GPS route and mileage is calculated round-trip for accuracy and compliance.

Non-Refundable Travel Fees

Once travel has begun all travel fees become non-refundable.

This applies even if the notarization cannot be completed due to:

> Invalid or missing identification

> Incomplete, incorrect, or unsigned documents

> Client unpreparedness

> Wrong address provided

> On-Site circumstances outside of the notary's control

This protects the notary's time, fuel, and operational costs.

Additional Time On-Site

> The first hour on-sited is included

> Additional time is billed in 30-minute increments at $25 per hour.

Agreement

By booking an appointment, clients acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Travel Fee policy.
